Last piece in my collection with a couple of interesting entries.

Just arrived so not much time, but I want to share it with all of you.

I have just scanned the award entries because I found two interesting entries to several and different collectors.

First you can see that this officer was awarded the Luftschutz Ehrenzeichen 2º class a not too common entry in Heer books.

And here we can see another rare entry, the Bulgarian Bravery Medal 4th grade 1st class, famous for being awarded to several Waffen SS soldiers from the LSSAH.

Tonight I post his promotions, units and battles.

Was this guy a Major with a Pionier unit and died as a result of wounds 16.11.1943

My oficer is Major d.R. Curt Meusel, here you can see his Wehrpass picture where you can apreciate he is wering cyphers for his unit and correct shoulder strpas for his current rank, Leutnant der Reserve (gray piping under his black Waffenfarbe).

Now his units, incluiding the WW I ones, look at the last entry above the red line, he spent 16 and a half months in captivity.

His promotions (he was promoter to Oberleutnant der Reserve on November 1st, 1.938, he has all his promotions notated also in pages 37 and 38 incluiding the confirmation of his rank of Leutnant der Reseve on September 1st, 1.936 by his reserve unit, Pio.Btl. 43, the cyphers in his sholder boards)

First battle page, covering, very short way, his WW I service and, in an extended version, his WWII in Poland, France and the Balkans.

Combat in Russia, rest and refit in France and back to Russia from where he never returned.
