Didn't realise you had put new images in the thread........
Looks like he was drafted into the SS on 15.5.1943 from the pencilled entry on the front inside cover.
Leave 2 (cancelled) and 3 shows the following unit:
FP Nr. 58817 - Stab u. Einheit Sanitäts-Abteilung 12 (12. SS-Division HJ)
It appears he had convalescent leave (Genesung Urlaub) of 2 weeks, was he wounded then? You show no hospitalisation and there are no award entries! Unless block leave but then I would have expected to see revovery leave (Erholungs Urlaub)!
After that he appears to go to Ersatz Bataillon 12 in Nienburg, previosuly in Arnhem. From there, after recovery, to the Scharfschützen Schule in Kienschlag!!...this must have been in 1945.
On 2.4.1945, he was issued a K43 with Z.f. 4 also other equipment indicating he could well be going back to the front!!!
He does not appear to have been issued any camauflage uniform however!
Interesting career of his wife also!!!

Hello,
The sb set is authentic.
For example if your wounded by an accident you don't get the wounded badge, similar for an illness.
So that might explain why their is no wounded badge in black or a lazaret citation in the book.
But you might have thought he was a sniper in Normandy but that wasn't the case, he most likely was a good shoter otherwise they wouldn't have sent him to sniper school.
I see no red flags in this sb!
Cheers,
Peter

Thomas,
Peter has answered your question...I was telling you what I see, if it was fake I would have mentioned that.
So money well spent ......if the price is correct on MFF that is!

My think is this man was a good shooter and was for the later duty as sniper thought. Some marks how the first Page Stamp is corius then you know sniper are some Solders how first shot as prison.
No Award entry is not bad you must think it was war and every man has to do other thinks as to write some awards in this Soldbuch.
