    what is this worth?

    hello,

I was just wondering what this wherpaß would be worth on todays market... I've bought it for 35€ which sounded like a real bargain to me, especcialy since it's from a panzermann, -funker what ever you want to call it

    short info:

    Karl Kirchner,
    Obergefreiten,
    started with 1./Pz.-Ers-.Abt.4, Wien-Rodaun,
    last unit, 2. (Panther)/Pz.Reg. 16

awarded: EKII, Ostmedaille and Panzerkampfabz. i. Silber.
trained on K98, P08 and Kwk 5,0 cm,
recieved a Funkausbildung für pz. III

not much fighting registred in the Wehrpaß only Russland, and two small pieces of paper denoting his participation in the "Winterschlacht von Reschw"

here are some photo's, If you need more, you'll have to wait till after the weekend, because I'm off reenacting

    wehrpass value

Nice cheap pickup mate - wehrpass's with the PAB normally go for £50.00

      £50? And the rest.

Especially for a Normandy\Bulge Panther related unit.

I had several to this unit...the Kompanie records were found hidden in Germany. Can't remember if they were buried but most have water damage as does this one.

thanks for the information guys, I didn't realised he had fought in Normandy, thought he was an Easternfront man all the way

my Wehrpass has indeed suffered from waterdamage, some spamp have pressed through unto the next couple of pages, and some entries have become almst erased, but I think it only adds to the charm

anyhow, I'll take some more pictures next monday or so, 'cause I still got to re-do one exam, and go and fight the british and amaricans in Leopoldsburg, busy weekend ahead.

          cheers

              Hi Simon,

Alan Beadle did have several of those water/damp-damage WPs for sale.

              yours
