    Minor WP translation request

This is from my newest Wehrpass. I cant make out the top line in the occupation section for this guy. I think the bottom word is Lehr which would be teaching, however the dolsier is only 17 years old so i doubt he is a teacher (the the entry could have been made psot war if the WP was still being used as ID). Anyway im thinking if someone can please tell me what the top word is then i can link the Lehr to it.

    Many thanks

It may seem trivial but i do try and research and get as much as possible out of each Wehrpass in order to make as an accurate a picture as possible of the soldier in question. This guy was posted to 46th ID while it was deployed in Budapest.

Something with Arbeitsmachinen and Pferdepflegen (machinery and care of horses). Can't tell what the initials below it stand for, something in 1st and 2nd class.

                    Hi jonathan,

M.K.F. Kl. I u. II. could be an abbreviation dealing with "Militär Kraft Fahrer" or

better "Führerschein" ? (driving license for military personnel) 1st and 2nd class.

                    But I am not sure.

                      Looks like Pi. Arbeitsmaschinen ....Pioniere!

                      Also regarding military driving licenses:

                      Class 1 = motorcycle, 2 = truck and 3 = car

                        Many thanks to all

@Gerdn your suggestion for the M.F.K. may be correct as the mans driving licence came with the grouping i aquired

                            My thanks again

Seems the soldat was a Pionier driver. Plenty of awards too, EK II, Krimchild, Ostmedaille, Drivers in Bronze and WB in Silver, Saw a lot of action. A neat little Wherpass indeed!!!

Thanks in helping to clear up those areas i couldnt get my head round
