        Oh well - a shame for the Wehrpass, though, it's humiliated for all eternity now. Thank you all for your help and comments. I got this one at a show more than a year ago, if the seller is there, there's hope, but in any case, it's not a big loss, at least my other Wehrpass I posted turned out to be a good one. Danke

          Hi Rainer,

          the round stamp (left bottom corner) on the photograph is a French military

          stamp. You even find the Frech word/rank COLONEL on it.

          It could n o t be used by German authorities during WWII.

            There are many fake KL-related wp's around.
            Beware!
            This year there were several fake KL-wp's discused on this part of the forum just do a search and you'll find the threads about these KL-wp's.
