    Afrika Korps?

    I am researching a Wehrpass in my collection. I believe the soldier was in Afrika. I would appreciate a second opinion though.

    His last unit entry is "7/ Pz. Gren. Rgt. 361"

    (I read that this unit was Afrika-Regiment 361 until being renamed in 7/1942)

    What does the "7" denote in 7/Pz. Gren. Rgt. 361?

    I am not great with the German order of battle, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

        It means the 7th company of Panzer Grenadier Regiment 361.
