How Unusual are TENO Combat Wehrpasses?

I haven't run onto any other TENO Wehrpass with combat entries. How do they stack up in terms of relative rarity?

Do any of our long-time Wehrpass collectors have any insight or opinions?

Technisches Btl. (mot) 3 belonged to the Pioniere branch of the Heer. It was formed 9.1.41, served as Heerestruppe in South Russia and North Caucasia; withdrew via Crimea and Romania to Hungary in 1944-45 and ended the war around Wien (Vienna). (from Tessin, Bd. II, p.189).

The TENO or TN (Technische Nothilfe = Technical Emergency Corps) on the other hand came under the Ordnungspolizei which in turn came under RF-SS Himmler in his capacity of Chef der deutschen Polizei (Chief of the German Police). (Handbook of German Military Forces, TM-E 30-451, 15 March 1945, pp.III-2/3).

So the bearer of thr WP belonged to the regular army and not to the TENO.

Right, These technical units were used for more complicated construction works than those usually done by Pioniere units as electric and water instalation, multilevel buildings, etc.
TENO was a typical emergency service used after air raids etc.

p.s. BTW guys- show your TN tags - the typical are the ones saying TN and Stammrolle, but there are many un-typical ones ( I have one indicating Luftgau and one saying "TENO Pol.") Have anybody met some other models?

Dogtag and BHS1956, I appreciate the help and clarification. Did these soldiers wear regular army uniforms? He's wearing something strange in his WP photo. s/f Robert

The members of Technisches Btl. (mot) 3 would have worn the regular Heer uniform with appropriate Pioniere markings. I don't recognize the uniform in the photo. But many of the collectors here are uniform experts so hopefully someone will come along and identify it.

In fact it looks like TeNo collar patches . Just a guess : - a TeNo member who joined Technisches Bataillon when drafted?
