Hello collectors,

here i show you an id disc, i guess id unit shown is Flak-Regiment 4

But sometimes we can see the letter L After Unit number on ID Discs like this

Anyone knows the meaning of this letter?

In English:

The L stands for Luftwaffenfelddivision. The Unit is the Flak-Abteilung Luftwaffen-Feld-Division 4

Formed 9.42 with 3 batteries.

1943 became IV./Luftwaffen-Artillerie-Regiment 4.

thanks for your input, think it is a good explanation.

What me a little bit confused is that the Flak-Abteilung from Luftwaffen-Feld-Division 4 had 3. Batterien and unit is formed 9.1942 but disc is stamped with 5 Batteries?

Maybe other Batteries came later?
