    7. /Ob.d.L. ???

    Few years ago during road reconstruction these dog tags there found in Vilnius (Lithuania). They there not worn. Personal numbers marked from 1 up to approximately 500-600 (almost battalion). As I understand this is LW dog tag. Maybe somebody can explain more detailed witch unit?

    Maybe you have one spare for sale or trade?
    I have 2 of these ( one from Stabskompanie and one from 3rd Komp.) but none from 7th.

      Yes I have. Can you describe tasks of this company? What they there doing in Vilnius?

        7./Ln.-Rgt. Ob.d.L.
        26 Aug 39: formed in the Berlin area with FpN L 21803;
        Spring 41: re-designated 11./Ln.Rgt. 120;
        Spring 41: re-established with FpN L 04748;
        1941-44: Kp. Stab in Potsdam-Eiche - the Kompanie’s mission was to locate, observe and jam enemy radar transmissions; it was a very large Kompanie and had a number of detachments, including at least one in Russia;
        Nov 44: re-designated 3./Ln.-Abt. 350;
        Nov 44: re-established (new) with FpN L 61028.

        Lunftnachrichten-Rgt. Ob.d.L. was a huge regiment with a total of 6 Abteilungen (I through VI) with 25 Kompanien and several quasi-independent detachments at peak strength, which is said to have reached 7,000 personnel at one point.
