From the January 1943, identical entry (6.1.43) - (12.1.43).

Hospitalisation and Wound Entries: ( pag. 35)
Identical entry.
Same days.

Promotion Entries: (pag.22)
1.5.43 promotion to Unteroffizier
1.5.43 promotion to Obergefreiter
( Same day, a case?)

Award Entries: (pag.23-38)
Different entry, but with same signature of the Officer.

Interesting...some sort of Penal unit, perhaps? I have sort of mixed impressions about the entries, they look good enough to be real, but just odd enough to be contrived.

Somebody with a more thorough knowledge of the unit(s) in question will hopefully be able to sort it out!

At first sight, their is nothing wrong with those two wp's.
My opinion ofcourse.
Can tell you what that award on page 38 is.

As far as I can see, nothing wrong with the two WPs.
Got their medical check-up at the same dates, nothing wrong with that as the were in the same unit together.

The award entry: "Ehrenurkunde für Verdienste um das Pferd an der Front"

I will only comment on the page 12 unit entries. These look solid to me. The last one is Feldstrafgefangenen-Abt. 14. It was formed 5 January 1943 in Wehrkreis II (Wehrmacht-Gefängnis Anklam). It then fought in North Russia 1943-44, and along the lower Rhine area in the West under H.Gr. G and AOK 19 during 1944-45. It consisted of yard-birds (prisoners) from all branches of the Wehrmacht, including the Luftwaffe, who were taken from the Wehrmacht prison at Anklam and given an opportunity to redeem themselves in combat.

All of the other page 12 entries are genuine units with the correct abbreviations, dates and locations (where given). I would certify and notarize these two pages without hesitation.

I would agree with the previous comments, apart from the actual units listed which I have not researched the visual appearance, entries etc., look fine.

I have a Soldbuch from the Cadre personel of the Feldstrafge. Abtl. 14. These Penal ones are hard to find, let alone two men from the same units. Congrads!

You have removed me the doubts that I had for a long time on some annotations in this Wp that I have acquired in one military fair in years 90 to Novegro-Milan.

BHS1956, thanks for the information on this unit. Me they are made curious. I am making some search.

When I have read the complete name of the Feldstrafgefangenen Unit I have thought to have already read this name. I do not know if it is fortune, because if they are rare this Wp, I have remembered me of another Wp that I have in collection that show you.

It is one Wp of an infantryman that is f transfered by the Feldstrafgefangenen Abt.6 to the Feldstrafgefangenen Abt.14 in August 1944.
