Nice unit:

Panzerabwehr-Abteilung (motorisiert) 559

1.4.1940 renamed in Panzerjäger-Abteilung 559.

1.5.1942 renamed in Panzerjäger-Abteilung (Sfl.) 559 and equipted with 7,62 cm-Selbstfahrlafetten. (Integration of Panzerjäger-Kompanie 601) 3rd Coy was disbandet.
10.4.1944 reorganized in schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 559 (Panther).
20.8.1944 2nd und 3rd Coy with 14 Sturmgeschütze in a coy.
