soldbuch/wehrpass-how to display?

would any of you guys out there be able to suggest a way in which i would be able to display my soldbuch, wehrpass' and other docs (personalausweis,pow data sheet,diploma etc)all awarded to the same soldier?Also the guys soldbuch is a little battered and worn and in some places held together with tape,should i attempt to repair this,or is it best left alone?

I usually mount groups in large picture frames. University Products has a complete line of archival materials, including polypropelene sleeves for holding docs. These can then be mounted to matboard or fabric covered foamcore with linen mounting tape. With a little creative matting medals can be included. You're better off leaving the Soldbuch alone unless it's completely falling apart. There are things that can be done, but they look pretty funky.

I agree with Tom--you're better off leaving a ratty, tatty old Buch as is. These often turn up with old period repairs, and that's OK, but to put new tape on now, even if the archival quality stuff, takes away from the period nature of the piece.
