Hi Tyler,

I agree with Erich- if you look at the 'e' in the birthdate (Februar), you can see that it matches the first letter in the religion. Once you match those you know that the religion is written in Suetterlin, and that the second letter is a 'v'. The best way I've found to identify somewhat illegible writing is to compare each letter with the rest of the text- find something that matches and if you can recognize the matching word, you've got your letter- assuming that you're using words written by the same person that is.

It's quite interesting that the entries are in both the Latin alphabet and Suetterlin...
