Is this real? Danzig Gestapo ID tag ??

Hello forum...

I don't own this item... nor is it in my possession.

A person in town e-mailed me some photos on this tag... and wanted to know if it's real... and if so... what might it be worth?

It appears to be a city of Danzig (Northern Poland?) ID tag for a Gestapo officer???

These are the only photos that I have.

I will also e-mail her a link... so... she can read the comments being posted.

Hi, I am sorry, but the tag is a fake. In fact, it is a fantasy item and never exsisted in WW2.

Indeed a fake. One of the many...

There was a genuine gestapo tag for sale today at detlev's site.
It went for 4000 euro.
