I have a Soldbuch to Karl Wirt. He served with 319 Inf Div for most of the war before being taken POW and released in 1947.

With the soldbuch are some photo's of him in uniform, british docs upon his release and his award doc for the KVK with swords.

Could be quite interesting being a Channel Island guy.

I found a couple of pics of him. (he also was awarded the German Cross in Silver)

Oh and he was Von Rundstedt's Nephew!!! (he was in his 50's)
