    Extra field equipment of the panzersoldat.

    Would a panzersoldat in, say for instance a panzeraufklärungsabteilung, be issued a zeltbahn?

    And what model of helmets were the panzermänner issued? The M40?

    I have checked my current literature and various websites I often visit, but couldn't find anything on the subject. I was hoping that perhaps one of you gentlemen out there has got a panzersoldat soldbuch out there that perhaps, through listing of equipment, could answer my question.

    Not something I have really checked but I would imagine they would have been issued a Zeltbahn and associated equipment....
    Also they would be issued whatever helmet was available in stores I would have thought....no need for a specific one!?!??!
