Question: 14. and 16. Kompanie of a Regiment

Hello:

In a three regiment division, what sort of weapons did the 16. Kompanie use (mortars, PaK?).

Here is an example from a great Soldbuch I just received:

Hi Erich,

The 14. Kompanie was usually the Panzerjaeger company, but I can't say I've heard of a 16. Kompanie... and I would say that the entry in the Soldbuch is a '14'- when you look at the '6' in th next box, written at the same time, it doesn't resemble the second digit in the 'Kompanie' box.

the 16. kompanie (for those infanterie regiments which had them) could be different things but in the 12 SS-Pz.Div. it was the pioneer kompanie
