    2 ID discs

    I need some help with two ID discs:

    a) 2./J.B. 373 - could it be Instandsetzungs-Bataillon (Infanterie-Bataillon sounds a bit odd to me) ??

    b) 1./R.A.K. d. F.T.S.u.F.W.T.S. - okay, the latter part stands for Fliegertechnische- und Flieger-Waffentechnische Schule, but what
    about the R.A.K.??

    a) I would say that it is Infanterie Bataillon

    b) Seeing as it is a training unit this most probably is Reserve Ausbildung Kompanie

      But wouldn´t an ID disc of a regular Infanterie-Bataillon be inscribed in the usual way: Bataillon Nr./I.R. XY??
