I see nothing wrong with the Wehrpass.
The only minus would be the Pz. Vern. Abz. It would be impossible to tell wether it's an original entry or postwar. Although it looks good to me, it would be a piece of cake for a professional fraud to make that entry

The only thing I would guestion is the Pz. Vern. award. The only way to be sure, would be to see if the signature over laps the award (original) or visa-versa (fake). The rest of the book is very nice.

Hi all and thanks for the coments.

Here is the best pic I could take of the Pz.vern. entry. It realy looks like the signature goes over the entry. Having the pass in hands Iam quite sure it is this way.

Together with the Panzerfaust entry and the late war entrys I think it could be geniue.

Any idea as for the valeu ?

what its worth and its value are two different things, whats it worth to you? in my opinion there are to many over expensive items being put up for sale on the e.stand. retail is different to trade, if you get what i mean, in london this would be around the 400 u.k. mark. but london is high end. 300 u.k. on e,stand would ensure you a sale im sure. its a good division.

Here’s my .02 which probably isn’t worth very much… but anyway:

I'm still not 100% convinced that the TDB entry is original, but that's not to say it isn’t! It's just my opinion.

I'd have to see the book in person to examine the signature with a loupe, but my opinion is that the TDB entry was squeezed in, between the EKII entry and signature, AFTER the EKII was entered, signed and stamped.

It's quite possible that the TDB entry was added at the very end of the war and that the soldier was in fact totally eligible for the award, but IMHO that authorization stamp is for the EKII and NOT the TDB, meaning that when that stamp and signature was entered, it was only for the EKII.

Now, it’s also possible that the EKII was entered but never signed and stamped, and that when the TDB was entered, the book then received the appropriate authorizing stamp and signature, but considering the nature of the award (EKII) I would highly doubt this theory.

Regardless, the rest of the book looks to be completely original and unaltered. I think it’s a very desirable Wherpass which I would be happy to have in my collection

What's interesting to me is that if the TDB entry is legit, that would mean an Allied Tank kill (by a signal's guy too!) which IMHO would make the book even more desirable.

I'm the first collector to have laid eyes on this before I traded it to a collector in Germany earlier this year. I won it on an auction on Epier in 2001 from a U.S. Army veteran of WWII who picked it up during the war but who had no idea of its true value. I showed it to Emilie C. Stewart, the famous Soldbuch/Wehrpass maven and in her opinion it was 100% genuine.
