    Two ID Disc ?

    Hi All,
What are the abreviations on these discs?
One is H.VT.O. WILDFLECKEN, I know the name is a base, but what is the H.VT.O. stand for? 101 and no blood group?
Secondly, H. Ma Bamberg 630, I think some one said Heers Munitions amt ? Bamberg. Whats the 630, a soldiers number, but no blood group? What do you think?

    Hi Terry,

    H. can stand for Haupt, Heer(es), or Hoeherer- Haupt makes the most sense
VT. can be Verfuegungstruppe (Waffen-SS), or Verpflegungstross (Ration supply unit train)
    O. is anyone's guess

You're right about the H. Ma being Heeres Munitions Anstalt.

The numbers are the soldier's Stammrollennummer (personal number). The lack of a blood group letter could either mean the tag is pre-1941, when they started putting the group on the discs, or they were never issued.
