Thanks Rob,
On the first look it seems OK to me.
Your example also comes from what I call the sachsenhausen-conection these wp an sb I saw on the militariashows in Belgium in the second part of the 90's, in that time I saw and did hold in my hands at least 30 (10 examples on one day alone with one dealer!). The best out of the bunch I saw was the second in command of KL-Amersfoort (Vught) and later at Gusen (Mauthausen) also with a sachsenhausen stamp in his wp. At that time I didn't have the cash to spend on them my money was caught up on something else, I even don't remeber on what but I still regret it on to this day. So I know for a fact that there are very good examples out there.
Thanks again Rob for sharing your sb.

http://militariarelics.com/Default.aspx?C=x....Link doesn't take you too the page, sorry but go to 'documents Wehrpass SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann-Mittlebau' and there is one to someone who served in the same unit previously.
It would seem that these certainly aren't hard to find.here are links to 2.
regards,Lynton.
They have exactly the same hand writing in certain parts of the WP.
There are three more identical KL Wehrpasses here

Hello Rob,
Yours is also an example of an outside guard. You have to remeber that all KL perimeters were guarded by whermacht units and apparently in 1944 the were absorbed in the waffen ss. For this duty a lot of manpower was needed also for guarding the trains going to the KL's. On the inside of the camp, the organisation was done by the original ss-totenkopf verbande guys their numbers where not great they were rater assisted by Kapo's (prisoner colaborators) than by former whermacht members . Of cours the outside guards know what is going on in these camps but their actif part in torture,punishment,...etc is far less than the orignal ss guys and kapo's working on the inside of the wire. On that point I make the diference for value; of cours for the dealers are KL-guards are the same, but the are not!
Read books about living circumstance in a KL and all the parts of the puzzle will come together for you.
Also it has to be said that some whermacht units and indivudal soldiers were involved in warcrimes and crimes against humanity in the holocaust.

Peter-
Thank you for the quick reply and for the info you have shared. It's always good to have as much as you can on the post-war history of these books; how, where and when they surfaced, etc.

Polux-
Unfortunately, there isn't much more what I have shown. I'm traveling right now so I don't have access to the SB, but I will look through the digital images I took and see if I have pictures of the other entries that are in there. (I know there are weapons, gasmask, etc. entries on 8a through 8d).
