Hi, he was not an Officer but an NCO. Note is says "Unterfuhrer". His unit was SS Sturm 3/38.

Correct, it's a SS-Unterf******252;hrer-Ausweis to a NCO (if he were an officer, he would have been issued a SS-F******252;hrer ausweis.) It's signed by SS-Gruppenf******252;hrer Alfred Rodenbucher, SS number 8229, who at the time he signed was F******252;hrer of SS-Oberabschnitts “Alpenland.”
