How late in the war were Rumanian awards actually awarded?

Interesting information but I think that you must interpret it a little different => namely the first date is the actual award date ( 09.1943 ) and the Salzburg date, etc .... is the date that his Wehrpass was updated IMHO.

Thanks for the answer. This is the entry in the Soldbuch (unfortunatley do not have his Wehrpass!) I just think it is a little strange that this award is being entered in his Soldbuch after the award was not longer awarded. I have seen examples of awards of former German allied nation being crossed out.
Although the foto in the Soldbuch was stamped by the same Reservelazarett that made the enty in the Soldbuch, this soldier, is not wearing the Rum. Anti Communist medal on his ribbon bar.
(Also notice the French military governement cancellation stamp on the foto.)
