    SS Soldbuch signature help

I just realized that I had not posted this in this forum I wanted to..

I am trying to figure out the signature is this SS soldbuch. It is to a Untersturmf******252;hrer who was the Kp.Fhr. of the 1st Kp. in "SS.Pz.Gren.Rgt. Deutschland" April 43

It looks like a D but that wouldn't make any sence with the name. The problem with signatures is, that the the letters are not always written, as they should be.

          Ian,

I just made a comment on that link. I think it is Baumanis. He dots the i without removing pen from paper -- sweeping it over the i (looking like a "d") -- he then moves horizontally right and makes the final s.

          Regards,
          Guy Power

[edited to change "left" to "right" ... doh!]
