    Hi Angel,
I've only found this entry for Ital MP on a HG soldbuch, but no MG

It looks like 2/119. Any other place where we can see a clear stamp? security checks? Awards?

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

What unit used this italian MP? I have two soldbuch with italian MP notated, one with the german designation of the weapon and other like yours. I look what units were.

        Thanks

I see it, nice piece, it has some awards? I collect pieces from the Heer in basis of being awarded the EK so always I ask for awards. I suppose he received the weapon during the Italian excursion of the HG. I have one from a Jager Regiment serving in Italie and the other still in research.

This one serving with Gre.Rgt. 61. MP 42 was the german name to Beretta M38 if I'm not wrong.

Talking about rare weapons and Italy, here is the entry for an MP 41 to a member of Flak Abteilung 609 (mot) part of 164 leichte Afrika Division who used this weapon meanwhile serving in Crete with Italian troops, several photos with his italian comrades, prior his transfer to Afrika. Not a common combat weapon. Incidentally our man was awarded the EK II just prior surrender of the Afrikakorps, May 11th, 1.943.

                      ..the same but different.

The Ausbildungnachweis to Jäger Karl Fußnecker of Stab/ Res. Jäger Rgt. 75.

The top of the notice says After acknowldegement by the field unit (this notice is) to be destroyed.

He was trained on quite a few items as normal, but his suggested use (Vorgeschlagene Verwendung) is as an MG Schütze.

From the very, very interesting Soldbuch of Unteroffizier (promotion date: 1.5.45, previously at Stabsgefreiter for 3 years!) Walter Augustin of Stab/ 24. Inf. Div in Kurland is the weapon' entry for the Selbtsladegewehr and MP 43/1. Up until 10.6.1944 Augustin only had a 98k. One of the better Bücher in my collection.
