    Infanterie Soldbuch

    Hi,

This Soldbuch belonged to Gefreiter Herbert Gluck
Does the 352 Inf. Ers. Bat. stamp in this book mean the soldier was for a while in the 352 Grenadier Division? I believe that was the unit's reserve battalion, correct? Also, can you tell to which divison does the last stamp in the page belongs?
    Thanks,
    Cesar.

        Hi Cesar,
Section B for field units indicates a replacement unit that he belonged when not at a front line unit. Gren.Ers.Btl. 352 was in Luxembourg from 30.11.40 and was responsible for replacements for 246 Inf.Div.
Gren.Ers.Btl. 88 was in Fulda and provided replacements for 15 Inf.Div.
I can see that he served with Gren.Rgt. 88 which was part of 15 Inf.Div.

        Does this answer your questions?

        Regards, Ian
