That will get the guys to read this thread, me thinks... Page 20 from a polizie=Dienstpass.. Can any one (Ian, Bud) please translate this page.. Take pity on this medal and Award collector. It will only be a short sortie into your Forum and I will be, ever so humble..

It basically refers to the entry of his rank on orders of RFSS and General of German Police from 28.12.1940 for Police Reservist. His new rank of "Polizeirottwachtmeister der Reserve" and he received the rank 15.1.1941!
SW (Südwest?) Abschnitt Kommando B in Hamburg.

The entry on the opposite page refers to him being fit for active duty (Kv - Kriegsverwendungsfähig) after a medical examination on 18.2.1944...from I Battalion Polizei Wachbataillion X.
