photo in soldbuch

was there a standard method of attachment of a photo in a soldbuch?
staple, glue, rivets ? i notice small,round "rivets" in a wehrpas and
mostly staples in a soldbuch. any particular method raise suspicion?

please forgive my ignorance in this matter.

Two staples was the preferred method one upper and one lower in opposite corners, however you could find 4 staples, even two or four rivets, glued in or even held in by stamps!

The preferred method for Wehrpa******223; was rivets but even staples and glued in can be found............
