My friend Rumohr asked me to post this SS soldbuch. I hope you enjoy it.

Now that's something one doesn't see every day. Both a Nahakmpf and Banderkampfabz to the same man. Regulations were very specific. You could not mix or match your combat days to earn one or the other of the awards, so he had to have fought seperate combat days with regular troops and the partisans. Nice!

Thats a very nice Soldbuch that Rumohr has.....is the photo period colourised or touched up with paintshop?

I too have a SS Polizei Soldbuch where the guy got both Nahkampfspange and Bandenkampfabzeichen in Bronze....interestingly he did not get an EK though!

Dear collector friend,
The photo is colorized in wartime.
Alfred also got EK 1,he was in a SS-Jagdverband and also with Russian volunteers!
