Translation help to decipher town name!

    Hi

I wonder if anyone out there can tell me what this place name is? It is starting to drive me insane

I have tried Hashnenkirch and Hochnenkirch amongst others and have spent an age on the net and even resorted to flicking through town names on my sat nav! The street name looks like Holzart Strasse, perhaps, but nothing comes up on web searches.

I have included name details so that forum members can familiarise themselves with the style of handwriting.

Can someone help me - please!

    Many thanks in advance

    Raymond

Hi Raymond, the town probably is Hochneukirch, and the street Holgarstrasse or Holzerstrasse.
      hope this helps.

      regards. Den

I agree with Dennis, Hochneukirch, Holzerstraße 75.
Hochneukirch is near Jüchen southeast of Mönchen-Gladbach.

          Ian and Dennis

Thank you so much for the info, gentlemen. That is brilliant.

I have spent an age trying to work out where it is! You have saved more fruitless hours of searching. I am a happy man!

The map is the icing on the cake. Thanks for that Ian. It is a match and undeniable proof!

          All the best

          Raymond
