An interesting thread which hasn't had much activity lately. I am new to this area of collecting and it's interesting to see how others view it. Thanks gentlemen for voicing your views on why you collect what you do.

Soldbuch are definitely the best , for instance my soldbuch from a guy in inf. reg. 487 with close combat list from attacks on Moscow 1941 and defense of Russian counteroffensive. Just knowing that soldbuch was in his pocket during hard conditions and during hand to hand combat leaves me in awe of it every time I look at it.
But i do like wehrpass as well
