    Wehrpass KZL Herzogenbusch

Here are som pic's from a nice rare Wehrpass from a member of the Waffen-SS.
He joined the SS with the SS-Wachtbatl. "Nordwest" and later transfered to the Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch.
After the evacuation of the kamp in September 1944, he was a member of the SS-Totenkopfsturmbann Flossenburg.
A nice not so common wehrpass.

Really incredeble nice pass! There is a chapter of the "Wachbattaljon Nordwest" written in the book "Dienen onder het hakenkruis, Friezen in Duitse krijgsdienst" by Jasper Keizer.

Very interesting Wehrpass. It seems that this man, Kurt Voigt, was born in Laupersdorf, located in Swiss. It is the first time I see a Wehrpass from a man who served in both Polizeiliches Durchgangslager Amersfoort and KZ Herzogenbusch (Vught). Here is an interesting link:

I am very interested in this Wehrpass whenever you decide to sell it.

I personaly don't think he is Swiss, because they don't mention it. I've seen WP and SB from people from other country's and they always put the country's name with the city name. If he was Swiss it would read Laupersdorf (Schweiz).
Now it reads Laupersdorf Kries Zwickau (Sa). As I understand this it must be a little village in the erea of Zwickau in Sachsen.
How he ended up with the Nordwest, that I don't know.

            It's Saupersdorf - not Laupersdorf.

              Gary,

Thanks for the info, it is indeed Saupersdorf, a little vilage by Kirchberg south of Zwickau.

You are right. I stand corrected.
