soldbuch question

hi everyone,
the more i look into soldbuchs the more confused i seem to get, so if anyone can help i would be grateful. first : clothing issues in the buch i thought these were recorded by the unit when issued but i read recently that they are clothing checks done by the units. second some photos in buchs are said to be riveted examples i have seen on web sites seem to be more like what i would call an eyelet can anyone shed any light please.

It will always list what was issued him by his first unit and later it may have what uniform items he had when he entered a Hospital or changed units. The rivets you speak of are the same as eyelets. Photos were attached with glue, staples or the rivets (eyelets).
