    A bunch of questions

Do not want to create a lot of themes

    1. Does anybody know e-mail of Jean Hoedal (sorry for wrong surname, but I have no German keyboard installed)? I have few IDs which could be VERY INTERESTING for him.

    2. What was the unit - SS N.E.A. Obg. - exactly like typed...

    3. I got a notebook of german officer (I think) (standard for 1942-1943), there is the name damaged and I can't do anything with that, but I have I think FP# on first page. The number is 27940a. Please tell me what the number means.

You can probably get a message to Jean Höidal by going to www.emarken.de and contact the webmaster.

N.E.A stands for Nachrichten-Ersatz-Abteilung, so SS-NEA should be SS-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Abteilung, except that it was based at one time at least, in Oranienburg- there's no mention in the listing of a place that could be abbreviated 'Obg.'.

      Hi,
as far as I know mr.Hoidal does not have any e-mail. But as Matt said you can contact him via Michael Beran ( www.emarken.de).
If you have any interesting tags - maybe you could share these with us as well?

          FP Nr. 27940

          (19.7.1941-14.2.1942) Stab II Bataillon, Infanterie-Regiment 542
          (31.7.1942-9.2.1943) Stab Ski-Bataillon 387

The dates are approximate as it was used during that period not exact....I could verify with the units later however I am not on my PC to do so at the moment.
