Hi Doughlynn, what a coincidence, I know it was there listed for a long time and no one ever bid on it, so when you asked for one to compare, my first thought were on that one, didn't know you bid on it.

Just remember that there were only three Feldjager Kdo controlling three Feldjager Rgts. These three Rgts. were made up of personnel from the Heer, Luftwaffe, Kreigsmarine and SS and were not Feldgend. units. All Feldjager members would be from Feldjager-Rgt.1, 2, or 3.

I hope that "Feldjägerkommando d. LW" isn't the only time the Feldjäger unit is mentioned in the entire Soldbuch.!!!
Sure it is more interesting than a Luftwaffe Nachrichten unit, but I hope it is a original wartime entry too.

I can not find a Feldjägerkommando d. LW., and I hope for you they did have one, and that it is also mentioned that way, as it is strange not to see a number, or a regiment.

The only ones I can find:

- Feldjäger-Kdo.I , with Feldjäger-Rgt.1

- Feldjäger-Kdo.II , with Feldjäger-Rgt.2

- Feldjäger-Kdo.III , with Feldjäger-Rgt.3

I also can find no mention of a Feldjägerkommando d. LW . The other entries are okay. IMHO, unless a reliable source can verify the units existance the entry should be viewed with skepticism.

The awards page is fine. However, IMO with an absence of any mention of a Feldjägerkommando d. LW from available references the entry is more than likely a fantasy. It is still a nice SB, but the addition of the entry was probably made to make a more common passbook more appealing to buyers.
