I'm being offered this Wehrpass as part of a document group. Regarding the entries, do they appear to be correct?

The first 'Von--'Bis' time block entry 31.10.40 to 14.02.40 has a clerical error. The 14.02.40 is certianly a clerical mistake and should have read 14.12.40. Clerical mistakes are found in WP. He served in the Reitende Batterie...Horse Battery of the 2nd Regiment which was based in Lublin at that time. Until 28.2.43 served last with either the 3rd or 5th Battery of the newly expanded Brigade artillery arm which became a regiment. Interesting entries showing the various unit title changes that occured over time.

On looking over that dated entry that I mentioned which looked like a clerical error, what looks to be an O is most likely a very messy 1 which are also found in passbooks written that way.

The horse was used in both roles throughout the war. Specifically to the unit in question the horse was the primary artillery mover used to tow the battery guns and equipment much as had been done in previous conflicts. The battery's mission was as fire support for the Brigade while in Russia. Later designation and expansion to a motorized artillery regiment did not occur until later in the war. Some books that may help you.
