Herman Goring - Recruit document group

Hi all, I have a group of documents belonging to a 'Donat Pinter', these are recruitment documents and comprise of the following.

    'Wehrstammbuch'

    'Gesundheitsbuch'

A letter requesting the postponement of call-up so that he can finish his school studies, signed by his headmaster, Mayor and district civilian leader

Hermann Goering Division Volunteer certificate dated 14/5/43 in which he opts to join the mountain Battalion of the Rgt.

    Statement of non jewish decent.

    Luftwaffe Volunteer's questionaire (Fragebogen)

His CV which states his wish to join the HG mountain division after completing his RAD sevice.

    ID photo

This man served from Aug - Nov 1943 in the HG training Rgt and then transfered to Pz.Div HG in 14/11/43, later re-named Fallschirm - z Div 'HG'.

I am clearing out some of my documents and I was wondering what the interest would be in this grouping and what sort of value should I put on it before it goes on E-stand. I cannot post pics but if some kind hearted member is willing to post pics for me then pm me your email - i have taken scans of some of the HG info.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi Paul, I think the items sound interesting

I was a little puzzeled by the mention of a mountain battalion of the Division? I have a couple of books on this unit, but I cannot ever recall reading anything about this?

      Cheers, Ade.

Hi Ade, so was I, to be fair the only reference to this unit is in the guys hand written CV, he probably got it mixed up, but it definately says Gibirgs artillerie of the Herman Goring Division. If I email u the scans can you post them up?

        Cheers,

        Paul
