    Dog Tag

    Hello Guys

    I have this Dog tag, Sorry I dont have a Pic of it.

    What division has it belonged to ?? Wiking ??

    The inscription is : F./2k/5 SS J.R

    Hope any can help

    Hi Larsen, welcome to the forum!

    To be honest I don't like the way the tag is stamped, the "F./2k" sounds very odd? I cannot think what that is supposed to mean?

    SS Infanterie Regt 5 was not part of "Wiking". See here for a little info about them:

      Well the '2.K' would be 2. Kompanie, but I agree with Ade- the order of abbreviations does seem a little odd. Usually, the unit number comes last- save for one example I'm aware of (14 SS TJR). I'm not sure what the 'F' stands for...
