    SS tag

    Sirs, a dog tag has a code "2. SS-Pi" and "SS-Verfuegungstruppe" on the other side. I believe, that it`s pi. btl. "Dresden". Am I right or not? If not, what a subunit it is?

    Hi,

    Well I find a listing for a 'Friedensverwaltung SS-Pi-Bataillon' stationed in Dresden in mid-1941, but no other information. Given that all the other SS-Pionier-Bataillone have numbers, this is the only one that fits your disc- assuming that it's authentic that is.
