sonderkommando disc

help please: i saw a round "silvery disc", about 38mm in diameter, non-magnetic.
one side is stamped SS/31, ss-sonderkommando. the obverse is stamped with a star of david and warschau 1942. at this time i am unable to get a picture but i will try again late in the week.
any possible comments would be greatly appreciated. sorry for the lack of photo
and additional information.

Even without a photo or a scan I think that id must be a fake.
SS-Sonderkommando with the star of David !!!!!!, no way.

Hi my Fathers brother Francis George Buckingham was killed in action in July1944 in WW2 and he brought back several things whilst on leave when he came home from France and Germany in February 1944 and one of the items was a disc "Not Silver in colour as you mentioned" but in brass. I have taken photo's and if you wish I will email them to you, my father gave this to me back in 1959 just before he passed away with all the other items some I have given to my children since then, so I do believe you when you say that you have seen a disc with what you mentioned.

I agree with Alex's findings on his website [although disagree with him on his findings on the Ghetto badges].. The disc whether brass or any other material are fantasies.

There was an old French article on the Holocaust and in a photo grouping one of these pieces was included..The article might very well have been from the 1950s but the piece was a prop and not authentic...

I'd be curious to know what your impression is of the Ghetto police pieces - did you disagree with the authenticity of ones I thought authentic, or that the one held up as a fake is not? You can PM me if you prefer. Would appreciate your feedback/input.
