This grouping belonged to Obergefr. Willi Faltin who was drafted in 1937, then participated in the 1939 Polish campaign and fought in Russia and Africa, where he was captured by the Americans and brought by ship to the United States. There he was in held in New Jersey, Delaware and ultimately Louisiana where he worked on a cotton farm. This grouping which includes his original EKM with roll number 205, an Obergefr. sleeve insignia, and uniform removed ribbons (EK2, Russian Front and War Merit Cross(?)) and a small family photo in a plastic case with his Fort Dix POW mailing address on the back. I acquired it from Obergefr. Faltin's family who live in Berlin. Hope you like it! (P.S. Can't figure out how to reorder these photos in this new system!)
