wow, he was in Brest!!! on september 4, he was on the "Fort du Minou", US Rangers took the "Fort du Minou" on september 4 at the end of the afternoon...
after he was in the prisonner camp of St Thégonnec....

I see also he was in Colchester during 1946...interestingly it has a military prison there....
