I was at the badger military show in Madison on Friday, and I was looking for whatever Wehrpasses anybody had. I saw at a booth that a guy had a stack of them, so I asked him if I could look. He smiled, said "sure thing", and handed the stack over. From one wehrpass to the other, they were all to older men who either never fought or where WWI veterans, but then I ran across this. I saw the condition and thought it must have been in a cellar or something as a lot of the pages got wet and are kind of hard, although all the writing is still legible. Then I got to the roster page, and the first thing I saw was "Fallsch.=Jag."! I trid not to act suprised, and I asked him casually how much. He paged through it (luckily missing the roster page), and said $60.
I gladly paid, and walked away doing the dance of joy.
I would like help with what his FJ unit may have been doing at the time he was in.
