        I hope I get an answer to this one also

        I am wondering about the signature of the writer of this letter. He's telling the recipient that he should send his reply through his wife. The wife's name I get to "Mia Lind-" and the last letter might be a "z" if one looks at the writer's signature. Could that be right?

        The recipient is a soldier that fought with 12./G.R 569 with the 46th Inf. Div. in Isjum/Ukraine 1943, so the writer might be some officer in his company.

        The letter is within a group I bought last year and now I have time to do some investigation

          Now I remembered this thread :-)
          Here are the documents regarding the Röpke signature above. The soldier Nägler got the EK 1st and 2nd class at Isjum (today Izjum) in Ukraine.
