      Hello Humberto,

The soldiers main active field service was with both the Pioneer Feld Ersatz Kompanie 181 and Pioneer Batallion 181. All of which were part of Infantry Division 81 which served with Army Group North and later Courland. Interestingly there is also a third unit that he served with in the field which I cannot make out. All award entries are good. Nice passbook.

      Regards

              Edward & Doug,

one more question, what could have been this soldier's actions to have been granted with the EKII and the Sturmabzeichen? I mind he serve in a pioneer unit,

                Hello Humberto,

You are welcome! I looked closer at the unit entries. The first entry is not Felders Kp 181, but is either Felders Kp 81, or 811. On the third unit I can make out what looks to be San Kp VII/81/24. On the last field unit entry he served with the Stab Kompanie of the batallion. It was a Silesian division. Interestingly, this division also knocked out 170 Russian tanks during a two month period late in 1942.

                Regards

                  Hello Humberto,

he also served in the Pionier-Ersatz-Bataillon 213 in Glogau, Silesia.
