Police sports club membership booklet ?

Can someone provide a little more information on this piece.
From what I am able to make out it is a membership booklet for a sports association.

What I would like to know was this the type of record keeping that was used to qualify for a sports badge.

Was this gentleman a police officer who was earning the sports badge.

Entries end dec, 1941 so he must have went to active duty

Photos show in the open position when folded booklet measures 3” x 4.5”

Hi Tom,
looks like a membership book with payment entries.
Looks like he paid for membership for the years 1939 through to 1941.

It is for membership of the Police sportsclub in Vienna.

This was only for showing and keeping record of membership. not for qualifying for a sportsbadge or anything.
