Date of issue for Kriegsmarine Soldbücher?

I have numerous Kriegsmarine Soldbücher in my collection and most seem to date from around the middle of 1941 with the earliest being 19.4.1941 for those that were clearly in service from 1939, 1940 and earlier!
My personal oppinion is that this the earliest as they were not issued prior to this date and the Truppenausweis was used, unlike Heer, Luftwaffe and SS.
Has anyone got an earlier example or has any evidence regarding dates of issue?
I am sure I have something regarding this in the Verordnungsblatten that I have but it is finding out which one!!!

Hi Ian,

the KM Coastal Artillery book I have that never sold(!!!!!) was issued on 21. February 1941. This may not help, but it another statistic.

Soldbuch KM

Hello Ian,

Having examined the Soldbuch KM of the collection, I noticed that 6 documents had been distributed in 1941. 4 Soldbuch present previous registrations. See details :

Soldbuch KM, in May 1, 1941, previous registrations (vaccines and annexation)

Soldbuch KM, in April 18, 1941, no previous registrations

Soldbuch KM, in June 1, 1941, no previous registrations

Soldbuch KM, in June 25, 1941, previous registrations (decorations, Spanienkreuz, EK2)

Soldbuch KM, in July 25, 1941, previous registrations (decorations, Dienstauszeichnung IV, III , II)

Soldbuch KM, in June 24, 1941, previous registrations (decorations, Narvikschild)

Hoping that these some information will be able to be useful for you, I would be very interested to know the result about your researches. It is strange that an important part of the German army, KM, is not used of Soldbuch to in 1941, this after more than 18 months war !

Polux, I see you have one from 18.4.1941, April was the the earliest I had ever seen.
Long time since I heard from you, I had though you had stopped collecting or perhaps the house and work have taken over!!! Like mine!!!!!
