Ehrenschild entry in wehrpass

Hello,

I've a wehrpass with this entry inside. Is it uncommon? I cannot find any other wehrpass with such an inscription...
Soldier served in Norway during the war.

It's written Ehrenschild #7962, attributed on 4th July 1944 by Kom(mandierende) Gen(eral) u(nd) Bef(ehlshaber) im F(eld) L(uft)g(au) Nor(wegen).
The signature is by the kompanie chef.

On 1st May 1944, 7225 are attributed. On 1st August 1944, 8144 are attributed.
The number written on it matches well.

It is uncommon, i don't think it was always entered in to the SB/WP, I've seen 7777 awarded 4 July 44, so several hundred being awarded in one go.

Looks like he belonged to LW Bau.Btl. 2./3/VIII ?
