    SS Wehrpass help

I have had this complete grouping for some time, (20+ documents plus photos etc etc) and thought I would start to research. Can someone help with the early units before he joined Wiking when it formed in late 1940 from this page in the Wehrpass? The Soldbuch is also quite interesting with secondment to (or at least pay from) LSSAH in early 1940.

Hope you dont mind me taking advantage of others knowledge on this one!

    Thanks

*Edit: Originally I wrote Nordland; after expanding the image, it looks like Westland.

Dachau it is! I just noticed that I got the German dates mixed up. Should be day/month/year.
wurde am 10.6.19 die [edit: misread that "19" it should be 39]
Panzer Abwehr Abteilung der ϟϟ V.T.
          umgebildet
(Was on October 6 reorganized into the Anti-armor Section of the ϟϟ V.T.)
So that should be 10 June 39, not 6 Oct. Sorry about that.

Great piece and would be good to see the other items.

I had the good fortune to be able to do a book on a former SS 'N' member, who was KIA on the 15.7.43, as acting Kompanie Commander of Das Reich's Tiger Kompanie.

Great images of him between 1936 and 1939 in various SS 'N' uniforms.

Das Reich Tiger Commander is the book. if you wish to PM me, we can exchange email addresses, the info in that book, will help you understand SS 'N' more and where some of those men went after that.

Thank you very much for the comments and feedback. Yes it would be good to know a bit more about the SS-VT units, he served with plenty of them for short periods of time, would this have been training? But he certainly had some quality time in the SS early in the war, I will share another page from the Wehrpass.

and I believe he made it the whole way through the war with no wounds.
