Sch is a start and looks like it must have a g y or p near the end.

None matches the shape of the signature ... looking for a p, g, z, or y close to the end.

I think it is Curt Pohlmeyer.

Once you accept that first letter as a stylized "P", then the rest of the letters fall into line.
